Primal The Awakening arrived in May 2024 and became another painting project which I really enjoyed, even at times exceeding the monsters from Oathsworn. The card interplay in this game makes it such a great experience, and high quality miniatures makes it stand out as one of my favourite gaming sets.
Heroes
The core box has four heroes.
Vyraxen – the bat creature painted with red armour spine scales and Toromat – a desert dweller with brown and yellow armour
Korowon – a giant crab with lichen growths and Felaxir – a wolf creature with blue crystal spines
Ozew – a giant lightening insect, and Taragua – the mountainous rock like creature
Hurom – a colourful serpent beast, and Jekoros – the horned cave dweller
Orouxen – a blue themed water and ice dragon
Kharia – a fiery beast
Dygorax – a cross between a dragon and bat
Morkrass – the crystal creature
The final boss a huge dragon
Core set is complete, and expansions still to be done eventually.
